Pune: Congress downplayed Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit sharing dais with Sri Ram Sene chief Pramod Muthalik at a recent function in Pune.

"A Chief Minister attends several meetings in a day. A lot of people come to political meetings. It is difficult to keep track as to who attended the meetings," party spokesman Shakeel Ahmed told reporters here on a query on the presence of Dikshit in the Pune function recently.

The Sri Ram Sene is involved in the recent attack on women in a Mangalore pub.

Ahmed said BJP President Rajnath Singh and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan were in a photograph in which Malegaon blast accused Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur was also present."

Rajnath Singh should come clean on the photograph first.," Ahmed said. He, however, said attending meetings and photos do not prove anything.
