TERMING Satyam issue as a Congress fraud on the nation, BJP leader and MP Ananth Kumar urged the UPA government to appoint Joint Parliamentary Council (JPC) probe into the biggest IT fraud of the country.
Speaking on the floor of the Lok Sabha here on Friday, the former union minister asked why UPA was inhibitant to appoint JPC. He alleged that the Congress was trying to safeguard the corrupt Congress government in Andhra Pradesh led by chief minister Y S Rajashekhar Reddy.
Ananth Kumar alleged that Reddy had played a stellar role in patronising the disgraced former Satyam chief Ramalinga Raju.
Giving details about how the chief minister has been involved in a huge corruption, Ananth Kumar said this is one one of the biggest political scams in India.
