AgenciesINDIAN hostage Simon Paramanathan has been killed by Afghan abductors, according to sources.
Simon, an Indian worker in Herat province of Afghanistan, was abducted in October last year.
The abductors wer demanding $ 50,000 for his release. Simon's wife, Vasanthi, has pleaded with the Indian government for help.
Simon who went to Afghanistan a year ago was working for an Italian company and was to visit his home for Pongal. He worked in Muscat before joining the present company in Afghanistan.
