Mangalore: Denying his members having any link to Kerala CPM legislator C K Kunhumbu''s daughter and her Muslim friend's abduction last night, Sri Ram Sene chief Pramod Muthalik said it was a political conspiracy to tarnish Sene's name.
"The allegations are framed to defame our Sene. These are false. Let the inquiry take place," he said.
On the two arrests made in connection with the incident, he said they were not the workers of the right-wing outfit and if anybody from the outfit were found to be involved, stern action will be taken against them.
"Lessons will be taught (if any Sene member is found guilty). But don't give pre-judgement. Let police investigate the incident," Muthalik told a TV Channel.
Activists of a suspected saffron group had dragged Kunhambu's daughter and her accompanying male friend out of a bus yesterday here and reportedly kidnapped them before releasing the victims.
