Islamabad: Amid reports that Pakistani investigators have found evidence of a Bangladeshi connection to the Mumbai attacks, Premier Yousuf Raza Gilani today said Islamabad will "very soon" inform India about findings of its probe which is being conducted in a "transparent" manner.
Gilani said his government had taken steps to ensure the transparency of the investigation into the Indian dossier so that "the world will be convinced and it will be easy to convince India that we conducted a proper inquiry".
"We will do justice. We will make transparency a focal point (in the probe) so that no one in the world can point out that our inquiry was not transparent.
But at the same time, we will act according to Pakistan's laws," Gilani said. His comments follow a report in 'Dawn' newspaper which quoted sources as saying that Pakistan's probe into the Mumbai attacks is likely to indicate that the incident was the handiwork of an "international network of Muslim fundamentalists present in South Asia and spread all the way to Middle East".
