Cong to decide on SP alliance by Feb 11

Varanasi: The Congress will decide by February 11 alliance with Samajwadi Party in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh.

UP Congress Committee President Rita Bahuguna Joshi said Congress would field its candidates in at least 30 seats if the alliance stays.

Echoing views of other party leaders that Congress would not share any platform with Kalyan Singh, she said her party's stand on SP joining hands with the former chief minister who has himself accepted "total responsibility" for the Babri Masjid's demolition would be clarified by the high command very soon.
